APGeeks was founded in 2014 by partners Ken and David to provide exceptional audio engineering services. Our team has a deep understanding of how to translate artistic sensibilities into a technical reality.

Our Team

David

David
David is the managing partner and co-founder of APGeeks. He holds a Bachelors of Music with an emphasis in Percussion and an A.S. in Computer Science. Prior to founding APGeeks, David worked in recording studios as a tracking/mixing engineer and built and maintained computer systems. David specializes in audio engineering and sound design for Musical Theatre, having engineered over 30 productions. No stranger to a soldering iron and an oscilloscope, David builds replicas of vintage audio equipment including preamps, EQ's, and compressors.

Ken

Ken
Ken is the co-founder of APGeeks, and brings more than two decades of experience in studio and live audio engineering. Prior to founding APGeeks, Ken worked at the Record Plant in L.A. and as the lead audio engineer at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center. In 2010 Ken was the recording engineer for Amanda Palmer and Neil Gaiman's West Coast Tour, and returned in 2011 as Amanda Palmer's monitor engineer. Ken is also a classically trained musician who plays Guitar, Bass, and Trombone.
